TDP MP blows hot and cold on CM

June 15, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:46 am IST - ANANTAPUR:

Anantapur TDP MP J.C. Diwakar Reddy on Sunday said ‘some’ people were ‘cursing’ Chief Minister Mr. Chandrababu Naidu for not having implemented the farm loan waiver even after a year into the government.

Speaking at a public meeting at the Kanekal mandal headquarters, where he shared the dais with Rayadurgam MLA Kalava Srinivasulu, he said, “If some people are cursing Mr. Naidu, it is because loan waiver has not been done even after one year." However, he went on to say Mr. Naidu was constrained by the poor financial conditions. Referring to the ‘vote-for-cash’ scam, Mr. Diwakar Reddy said Telanagana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was ‘unnecessarily’ creating problems on the issue. “Who has won without (spending) money? From a sarpanch in a small village to an MLA, MP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to me, everybody has to spend money to win. Did KCR not do that?" Mr Reddy asked.
