South Central Railway General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav along with Divisional Railway Manager R. Bhananjayulu inspected the city railway station on Friday.

Mr. Vinod Kumar also took stock of the function of wheelchair lift that helps physically challenged passengers get easy access to coaches and pet bottle crushing machine on the platform number one.

On the occasion, Mr. Vinod Kumar distributed android-based tablets and personal luggage bags to loco pilots of the Vijayawada division.

Loaded with features

The tablets are loaded with all the manuals, troubleshooting applications for AC and diesel locomotives, working timetables and others.

Later, Mr. Vinod discussed various issues and development activities pertaining to the Vijayawada Division with the divisional officers.

M.V.S. Ramaraju, ADRM (Infrastructure), G. Sumana, ADRM (Operations), P. Bhaskar Reddy, Sr.DCM, P. Chaitanya, Sr. DOM, G.V.S. Raju, Sr.DEN (Co-Ord), N.C.Rao, CMS, P.Nehamiah, Sr.DPO, J.V.R.K. Rajasekhar and others were present.
