Conducting the Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET) 2014 all over Andhra Pradesh, including Telangana on June 2 may not be a problem though June 2 is also the appointed day for formation of Telangana State, Andhra University Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of EDCET 2014 G.S.N. Raju said.

Addressing the media here on Monday, he said: “This issues have been brought to the notice of AP State Council of Higher Education but no instruction has been received so far and APSCHE may take a decision depending on the situation prevailing then.” If a holiday was sought on that day by the Telangana region, a decision has to be taken accordingly, he said.

EdCET 2014 is scheduled to be held at 42 centres, including 13 under the Osmania and Kakatiya universities’ areas.

The last date for submitting examination application form along with application registration and processing fee of Rs. 150 is April 24 without late fee and April 30 with a late fee of Rs. 500. If the fee is paid at the AP Online or MeeSeva centres, the challan number has to be mentioned in the box specified for the same in the online application.
