A day-long cleanliness programme under the Swachh Bharat initiative was conducted at the Railway Station here on Saturday. Additional Divisional Railway Manager N.S.R. Prasad and Senior Divisional Commercial Manager N.V. Satyanarayana. More than 150 railway staff and officers participated in the cleanliness programme. They cleaned the railway premises, circulating area in front of the station building, foot overbridge and waiting halls. Mr. Prasad said more than Rs. 80 lakh had been sanctioned for various passenger amenity works at the Eluru station.
