Sun rays touch feet of deity again

It has been an eye-feast again for hundreds of devotees on Friday too with Sun rays touching the feet of presiding deity Sri Suryanarayana Swamy at Arasavilli temple.

The rays touched the feet for the second consecutive day giving the chance to a huge number of devotees to have a glimpse of the rare spectacle of the idol glowing in golden colour with the falling of early rays of the Sun.

The phenomenon lasted for about six minutes starting from 6.01 a.m. With the spread of the information about the staying of rays for eight minutes on the first day, many devotees reached the temple by 4 a.m. Chief priest Ippili Sankara Sarma and others offered special prayers.
