Joint Collector S. Subba Raju asked the media to be vigilant against paid news . Those giving advertisements for any candidate should also furnish affidavits, otherwise the expenditure would be added to the candidate.
Now deletion of votes based on Form 7 requests was in the domain of the Election Commission, he added.
