StartAP summit to be held in Vijayawada on January 18, 19

Event to feature talks by achievers, startup launches

The StartAP Amaravati – 2019 , a summit for startups and entrepreneurs, will be held in the city on January 18 and 19.

StartAP founder and CEO Siddharth Marupeddi, talking to The Hindu, said that the organisation had been bringing together ‘high-impact entrepreneurs, startups, passionate youngsters and investors for the building of a vibrant entrepreneurial community and accelerating change’, since its inception in 2014.

This year Baahubali producer Shobhu Yarlagadda, Abhibus founder and CEO Sudhakar, Bollant Industries founder Srikanth Bolla, Way2 founder Raju Vanapala, Varun group chairman V. Prabhu Kishore, mFine CEO Prasad Kompalli, Proto Village founder Kalyan Akkipeddi and myGate CEO Vijay Arisetty had been roped in to share their wisdom with the delegates of the summit at Bhavani Island on the first day, Mr. Siddharth said.

Business strategies

A day-long session that includes discussions and power talks on subjects like ‘how to make an investment plan and raise funds for a startup’ would be held at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram on the second day. Around 250 startup founder and entrepreneurs would be attending the summit, Mr. Siddharth said.

Product display

There would also be a showcasing of around 20 startups and product innovations. Ten startups would be launched at the event, Mr. Siddharth said.

The StartAP impacted 15,000 youngsters and over 250 startups in the last four editions of the summit it had conducted with the support of the Andhra Pradesh Government, he claimed.
