Advocates on Saturday turned down judges’ request to attend the Lok Adalat, which was given top pri ority by the Supreme Court. Several litigants, representatives of banks and insurance companies who turned up at the Lok Adalat to settle cases had to return disappointed, thanks to the agitation by lawyers. Advocates, who have been boycotting courts for the last one week, said they would not attend court until District Collector P.
