May 09, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 06:03 am IST - MACHILIPATNAM:

The Machilipatnam Police plied special vehicles for candidates of the Eamcet-2015 on Friday to ferry them to the examination centres. The Rakshak wing of the police spared their vehicles for girl candidates, who were received by the police at the local bus stand and railway station, to avoid transportation woes in the wake of ongoing strike by the RTC employees.

“We have allotted five vehicles to transport the candidates who turn up here for the exam”, Krishna SP G. Vijaya Kumar said. DMS SVH College of Engineering and the Hindu Colleges were the examination centres for the engineering and medicine streams.
