Solar power park set up

Rays Power Infra has set up a solar park about 100 km from here, its second park in Andhra Pradesh.

According to a company press release here, the park, spread over 125 acres, will generate approximately 15.5 lakh units per annum per MW of installed capacity. The total capacity envisaged is 25 MW.

The solar park will offer clients world-class facilities and ready-to-use infrastructure and pooling substation to develop solar power plants of any capacity from one MW onwards.

It said the company also bagged EPC contract for solar power project of 5.5 MW from Essel Infra in Karnataka. The company has so far commissioned a total of 45 MW of solar power plants and is executing another 40 MW in 2014-15.
