‘Smart campus’ award for GVMC

GVMC has received ‘Project award in social aspects for outstanding achievement in implementing smart campus.’

GVMC in charge Commissioner and Vice-Chairman of VUDA P. Basanth Kumar and Manager of Smart City Projects G. Ananda Rao received the award from Minister of Housing Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri on Friday at a function organised to mark the third anniversary of Smart City Mission in Lucknow.

Four schools were retrofitted providing physical infrastructure along with play area, play equipment and landscaping. Digital classroom labs have been provided to 27 high schools and four primary schools in the Area Based Development of the Smart City Project. Integrated projector units have been installed in 150 classrooms of the 27 high schools.
