Seven held, Rs. 8 lakh worth valuables recovered

Close on the heels of the recovery of stolen goods worth Rs. 26.77 lakh, the Prakasam police on Tuesday recovered valuables worth Rs. 8.60 lakh with the arrest of seven habitual offenders on Tuesday.

Six notorious criminals were nabbed on the outskirts of Ongole and a woman in Chirala by the CCS police in coordination with the Ongole and Chirala police. He added that the gang members used to divert the attention of co-passengers while travelling on autorickshaws on sharing basisand escape with valuables.
