Delegation to meet party leaders in Delhi

A delegation of BJP leaders from Seemandhra region will visit New Delhi next week to impress upon the party high command to protect the interests of Seemandhra people at the time of bifurcation.

BJP Andhra Udhyama committee chairman Bathina Narasimha Rao told reporters here that “though they are not against creation of Telangana State, they are very particular that the concerns of Seemandhra people should be addressed on various issues including river waters and revenue sharing.”

He suggested that option should be provided to those employees from Seemandhra who wanted to continue in Hyderabad. A share in Hyderabad revenue should be given to Seemandhra for at least 10 years for construction of a new State capital, he said along with BJP State executive member B.Hemanth Kumar.
