SCR to run Dasara specials

South Central Railway will run double-deckers and other specials to and from various destinations to clear the extra rush of passengers.

Accordingly, 10 double-decker special trains will be run between Kacheguda and Guntur via Kazipet between October 16 and the month-end.

Train no. 02118 will leave from here at 11 p.m. on October 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 and reach its destination at 5.50 a.m. the next day. On the return, train no. 02117 will leave Guntur at 11 a.m. on October 17, 19, 21, 23 and 25, to reach Kazipet at 5.25 a.m. the next day.

Enroute, they will stop at Sitafalmandi, Malkajgiri, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada and Mangalgiri.

Five more specials

Between October 22 and 26, five more specials will be run. Train no. 07207 will leave Vijayawada at 11 p.m. on October 22 to arrive at Secunderabad at 5.40 a.m. the next day. It will stop at Mangalagiri, Guntur, Sattenapalle, Pidiguralla, Nadikude, Miryalaguda and Nalgonda, enroute.

Train no. 07427 Secunderabad-Kakinada Town special will leave here at 9.40 a.m. on October 23 and 25 and reach Kakinada Town at 8 a.m. the next day. In the opposite direction, train no. 07428 will leave Kakinada Town at 6.10 a.m. on October 24 and reach here at 4.30 a.m. the next day. Enroute, they will stop at Pagidipalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot.

Train no. 07210 Kakinada Town -Vijayawada special will leave at 10 a.m. on October 26 and reach its destination at 3 p.m., the same day.

Four passenger specials

for 38th Urs-E-Quadeer

Also, four specials will be run between Hyderabad and Wadi for the benefit of those attending the 38{+t}{+h}Urs-E-Quadeer anniversary celebrations of Saint Hazrath Khwaja Syed Mohammed Badesha Quadri Chisti-ul-Yamani Quadeer-Rah at Wadi.

Train no. 07025 will leave at 11.15 a.m. on October 27 to reach its destination at 4.25 p.m. the same day. In the return direction, train no. 07026 will leave from Wadi at 5 p.m. and reach here at 11 a.m. the same day. On October 29, train no. 07025 will leave Hyderabad at 5 p.m. and arrive at Wadi at 10 a.m. the same day. In the opposite direction, train no. 07026 will leave Wadi at 11 a.m. and arrive here at 4.15 p.m.

The trains will stop at Begumpet, Sanathnagar, Hafizpet, Lingampalli, Nagalapalli, Shankarpalli, Gullaguda, Chittigadda, Vikarabad, Godamgura, Mailaram, Darur, Rukmapur, Tandur, Mantatti, Nawandgi, Kurgunta, Seram, Malkhaid Road, Chittapur and Sulehalli.

Rescheduled

Some trains have been re-scheduled/regulated on October 19, 21, 23, 26, 28 and 30 following SCR imposing a traffic block for construction of a road over bridge between Charpalli and Ghatkesar.

Consequently, train no. 12748 Vikarabad-Guntur Palnadu Express scheduled to leave Vikarabad at 1.45 p.m. will be regulated enroute for 31 minutes. Train no. 17233 Secunderabad-Balharshan Bhagyanagar Express, scheduled to leave at 3.25 p.m., will be regulated enroute for 18 minutes. Train no. 67277 Falaknuma-Janagaon diesel electrical multiple unit (DEMU) passenger, scheduled to leave Falaknuma at 2.10 p.m. on the said dates, has been rescheduled to leave at 3.10 p.m. Likewise, train no. 67278 in the opposite direction will leave at 6.10 p.m. instead of 5.10 p.m.
