Scholarships will be granted to children of police personnel studying medicine, engineering, B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy and other professional courses, Ravneet Kaur Gulati, wife of Kadapa SP Navin Gulati, announced here on Monday.
Speaking as chief guest in beautician training course closing function at RSI Narasimhulu Memorial mini-kalyana mantapam here, Dr. Ranveet Kaur said training would be imparted to women members of police families in tailoring and preparation of chinese dishes and fast foods. She assured more such programmes for the welfare of police families.
Armed Reserve DSP Muralidhar said Dr. Navin Gulati was organising several programmes for the welfare of police families. Beautician course training was imparted free of charge, he added.
Beautician course trainer Mahendramma and AR head constable K. Venkateswarlu’s daughter Gautami thanked Dr. Ravneet Kaur. Reserve Inspector Harikrishna, women and children of police families participated.
