M. Samuel, a senior IAS officer now serving as the Special Chief Secretary, Forests and Environment & Science and Technology, has been posted as Chief Commissioner Land Administration (CCLA), a post that fell vacant following appointment of Ms. Minnie Mathew as Chief Secretary.
He will, however, continue to hold full additional charge of the department of Forests, Environment & Science and Technology.
An IAS officer of the 1978 batch, Mr. Samuel has two more years of service left till 2014.
