A special ‘abhishekam’, popularly known as ‘Sahasra Kalasabhishekam’, was offered to the processional deities on the fifth day of the ongoing Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams being held at the ACSR Stadium here on Wednesday.

The devotees, who arrived from different parts of Nellore district and surrounding areas, attended the ‘seva’ and offered their prayers. The daily ‘sevas’ were performed just as they would be carried out at the Tirumala main shrine during the week.
