Ramkumar Reddy expelled from BJP

Barely a week after his appointment as secretary of A.P. unit of BJP, Nedurumalli Ramkumar Reddy, son of former Chief Minister N. Janardhan Reddy, was ousted for anti-party activities. BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana took the decision to expel Mr. Reddy close on the heels of the latter’s meeting with YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy during his Praja Sankalpam Yatra in East Godavari district. Mr. Reddy reportedly prepared ground to join YSRCP in pursuance of his ambition to secure the nomination as YSRCP candidate from Venkatagiri Assembly constituency in the 2019 elections.
