PCC president N. Raghuveera Reddy has dared TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu to discuss its poll manifesto in its ongoing Mahanadu. He also urged the party activists to question the leadership on the 600 promises made in the 50-page manifesto that remain unfulfilled. Taking a dig at the TDP for using the Mahanadu only to flay the UPA rule, he said at a party meeting here on Thursday that the TDP regime failed to waive loans of farmers as well as DWCRA women, provide jobs to youth, promised ex gratia for the unemployed and ensure MSP for farmers, while on the other hand, it stripped the poor of white ration cards, cancelled 12 lakh pensions and rendered one lakh workers jobless. “He does not sanction funds, but sleeps near the irrigation projects. We acquired land for Dugarajapatnam project, but he relegated it to cold storage. He shelved Polavaram and brought Pattiseema to the fore for kickbacks,” he alleged.
