Plans to install more substations

Minister for Civil Supplies D. Sridhar Babu has said that they were taking all necessary steps to remove voltage fluctuation problems to the farm sector and other power consumers by installing more power sub-stations.

Speaking after laying foundation stone for the construction of 33/11 KVA sub-station at a cost of Rs.1.25 crore in Malkapur village of Boinpalli mandal on Saturday, the Minister said the government was committed to provide seven-hour assured power to farm sector.

Later, the Minister inaugurated the 33/11 KVA sub-station erected at a cost of Rs.98 lakh in Shahnagar in Ramadugu mandal. Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar was present.
