Naidu to launch the programme on May 7

CHITTOOR: Chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to launch the Pentavalent vaccine at Tirupati on May 7, according to the District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) Dr K. Koteswari.

The DMHO held a meeting with the deputy DMHOs and other senior medical officers here on Saturday.

Prior to the visit of the Chief Minister to the district, all the medical and paramedical staff at the village and mandal levels were instructed to organise awareness rallies and campaigns in their respective areas on May 4 and 5. The officials were told to conduct task force committee meetings at mandal level and intensify the door-to-door campaign on the importance of pentavalent vaccine.
