The huge gathering, prominently women from weaker sections, seemed to have invigorated the YSRC circles who termed the ‘Samara Deeksha’ as a huge success.
Party leaders said the turnout was more than 25,000 . Party spokesman Ambati Rambabu said the enthusiastic response to party chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy’s speech pointed to a major shift in people’s perception on the TDP government.
“When compared to the ‘Nava Nirmana Deeksha’, the ‘Samara Deeskha’ has been a stupendous success. The overwhelming response indicates the growing disillusionment towards the government. People are not ready to trust Mr. Naidu anymore and the veil around Mr. Naidu has fallen,’’ Mr. Rambabu claimed.
