Over 200 delegates attend AIIEA meet

The south zone-level district secretaries’ meet of All India Insurance Employees’ Association got under way at Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal.

About 200 delegates from across southern India attended the meeting.

The inaugural was presided over by P.R. Sasi, president of the association. The leaders demanded wage revision for insurance employees from October 2012; one more option to join the 1995 pension scheme; exclusive discussion on promotion policy; control of prices of essential commodities, protection of nationalised insurance industry; withdrawal of FDI among others.
