Outsourcing work inspectors stage protest

June 16, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:46 am IST - SRIKAKULAM:

Andhra Pradesh Housing Corporation Outsourcing Employees’ Union organised an agitation at the Collector’s office here on Monday demanding that they should be reinstated in the services immediately.

They shouted slogans against the government saying that over 1,500 families were affected by removing from services.

Association’s district wing president Ch. Chandrasekhar said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had assured that his government would not remove contract and outsourcing employees but they were removed without any basis.

“The government’s decision has jeopardised the housing programmes for poor people in the district.

The government should do justice to both poor people by constructing houses and providing jobs to work inspectors,” Mr Chandrasekhar added.
