OPDR leader dead

Former Krishna district secretary of Organisation for the Protection of Democratic Rights (OPDR) Kamtamaneni Ravindra Rao, 80, died of a massive heart attack at the Ramesh Hospitals here on Sunday morning.

He is survived by wife and two sons.

Mr. Rao was born in Mopidevi village in Avanigadda mandal.

Organisation for the Protection of Democratic Rights Vijayawada president K. Yesu said that Rao’s death was a great loss to the civil liberties movement.

Hewas an active member of the Organisation for the Protection of Democratic Rights from is inception.
