A youth who was allegedly harassing women on social media was caught by one of his victims on Thursday and thrashed by the victim and her family members near his office before being handed over to the police.
Suryaraopet police arrested the accused following a complaint by the woman.
According to police, Subhani of Arundalpet wasallegedly sending obscene images, videos and vulgar messages to women to lure them into a relationship. He pinged the victim, a married woman, a week ago on Facebook. Beginning with normal greetings, he started sending pornographic content to her, the police said. Subhani was in the habit of sending friend requests to profiles with attractive images of women and conversing with them.
