Excise and B.C. Welfare Minister Kollu Ravindra on Friday appealed to Postal Department officials to help the government clear the pensions in time by clearing the rush at post offices. The Minister reviewed the implementation of the scheme and directed officials to come out with a fresh list, recommending the names of eligible persons for sanction of old-age pensions.
“The special committees appointed at village and town levels to work on the implementation of the pension scheme should ensure that every eligible person must benefit from it,” Mr. Ravindra said.
