Nandyal MP joins JSP

Sitting Nandyal MP S.P.Y. Reddy on Wednesday joined the Jana Sena Party at the party’s Mangalagiri office in the presence of party chief Pawan Kalyan.

Mr. Reddy won as MP from Nandyal three consecutive times in 2004, 2009 and 2014. He won the first two times as a Congress candidate, and in 2014 on a YSRCP ticket. He later defected to the TDP and has now moved to the JSP.

Sources said that he was miffed about not getting a Lok Sabha ticket from the TDP, which was given to M. Sivananda Reddy.
