To lay stone for eco tourism project at Vakalapudi

Arrangements are in place for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s district tour for May Day. Mr. Naidu will lay foundation stone for the Eco Tourism Circuit project at Vakalapudi. A sum of Rs. 70 crore being allocated by the Union government under ‘Swadeshi Darshan’ will be spent on the project that connects Hope Island and the Konaseema region. Reviewing the arrangements with the officials and local elected representatives at Vakalapudi on Thursday, Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said the idea was to develop Hope Island as world-class tourist attraction by connecting it to Coringa Mangroves and Konaseema region through the circuit project.
