Naidu lines up slew of meetings in New Delhi

Close on the heels of the Andhra Pradesh Government seeking a probe into the alleged phone-tapping by Telangana Government, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Mr. Naidu, who had a breakfast meeting with Union Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu is scheduled to call on the Prime Minister at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. He will also meet Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Union Minister for Water Resources Uma Bharathi and the President at 7.45 p.m. and brief them on developments in the State relating to alleged phone-tapping and take up AP's request for vesting Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan with powers relating to law and order in Hyderabad City.

He will also meet Bharatiya Janata Party National President Amit Shah at 5.30 p.m.
