‘Modi is Super Gagan Vihari’

May 24, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:57 am IST - BENGALURU:

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Saturday described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “Super Gagan Vihari”, a dig at his globetrotting ways.

Replying to a question on Mr. Modi’s foreign trips at a press conference, he said the Congress is not opposed to his foreign trips per se, but unlike former Prime Ministers, Mr. Modi has taken “domestic politics aboard”.

“Whether it is Canada, the U.S., China, South Korea or France, Mr. Modi continues to be on election mode. That is our primary objection,” Mr. Ramesh said.

Instead of maximum governance and minimum government, the NDA government is demonstrating “maximum arrogance and one-man government”.
