Modi has hurt sentiments of 5 cr. people of AP: LSP

October 24, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:45 am IST - SRIKAKULAM:

Lok Satta Party National President Surendra Srivastav on Friday said the nation’s attention would be drawn to the injustice meted out to AP with the denial of Special Category Status (SCS) which was promised in Parliament during bifurcation.

Addressing the media on Friday, Mr. Srivastav accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of shattering the dreams of five crore people of A.P by not mentioning the issue, although everybody eagerly waited for his statement.

He alleged that the A.P government had done injustice to farmers by forcibly taking their lands under the guise of the new capital, where only rich could live. Mr. Srivastav said the party would think of alliances with other parties only before the 2019 elections.
