Ministers praise Naidu’s rule

Despite the challenges faced by Andhra Pradesh post bifurcation, several Ministers lauded the government’s achievements in the last six months.

Responding to media persons queries on their impressions about six-month rule, Ministers Atchannaidu, Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Peethala Sujatha termed the administration of Mr.Naidu a success.

Whether it was tackling Hudhud cyclone or implementing promises made in election manifesto one by one, it was the rich administrative experience and acumen of Mr. Naidu and his leadership qualities that had been steering the State successfully through difficult times.

Taking a dig at YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy for staging a dharna, Mr. Atchannaidu alleged in the last 10-year Congress rule from Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy to N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, all government institutional mechanisms had been destroyed and public assets and resources were looted. Yet Mr. Jagan wanted to stage dharnas against the successful rule of Mr. Naidu, he said.

He said it was strange that APCC president N.Raghuveera Reddy was criticising Mr. Chandrababu Naidu though his party had no stakes in the State. In the last six months, Mr. Naidu’s accomplishments were many including bringing Hero Motors company to Nellore and agreement for building capital with Singapore’s cooperation, he added.
