Minister for Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Suneetha launched distribution of Sankranti ration kits here on Sunday.
She distributed the kits among the white card holders at Tandrapadu and Kallur Industrial Estate. Later, she inspected the Civil Supplies godowns at Chanikyapuri Colony.
Addressing the meetings, she asked the Fair Price shop dealers to sincerely implement the Sankranti ration kit programme which was dear to the government. She said despite moorings of the dealers in political parties, the distribution should be done properly as the government did not want any leakages in the programme.
Ration cards
She said 10.36 lakh families had white ration cards in the district which would receive the ration through 2411 FP shops in Kurnool district.
ZP chairman M. Rajasekhar Goud, Joint Collector K. Kannababu and others were present.
