MBBS student ends life

A third-year MBBS student of Narayana Medical College committed suicide by hanging herself in her hostel room at around 11 p.m. on Saturday. Police said serious differences with parents were cited as the immediate reason for the extreme step taken by Naga Sravani. She belonged to Kurnool town and her relatives had been informed about the incident. Nellore Rural DSP V.S. Rambabu said Sravani stayed with a girl in the hostel room. A case has been registered and investigation is on. The body has been shifted to DSR District Headquarters Hospital for post-mortem.
