Maoists urged to release pastor’s son unharmed

The All India Christian Council Telangana State vice-president K. Daniel has appealed to the CPI (Maoist) leadership to ensure the safe release of Isaac, 18, son of a pastor, who was reportedly kidnapped by a group of Maoists from Yetapaka Agency area in Andhra Pradesh in the wee hours of Saturday.

Talking to mediapersons along with the Telangana Jana Samiti State president G.F. Gopinath, several pastors from Warangal and other districts besides the parents of Isaac here on Tuesday, Rev. Daniel appealed to the Maoists to release Isaac unharmed. They said the abducted tribal youth Isaac, son of tribal Christian pastor, Kannaiah, of Laxmipuram, is an innocent youth.
