A 35-year-old man committed suicide by jumping from a running bus at Pambaleru bridge on the national highway near Gudur town here in Nellore district on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as one Subba Reddy from Jarugumalli village in Prakasam district.
He was said to have been returning home along with one Muni Raju from Bangalore where he was running a tea shop in KR Puram area. Police arrived at the spot and registered a cas Initial reports said Subba Reddy had become debt-ridden after he took to alcohol. He is survived by wife and two sons.
