Man claims to be grandson of Prakasam Pantulu

Tanguturi Gopalakrishna, the grandson of Andhra State’s first Chief Minister Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu, on Sunday said that one Tanguturi Sriram had been claiming to be the grandson of Pantulu and demanded that a probe be conducted into the issue .

In a memorandum to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, a copy of which was released here on Sunday, Mr. Gopalakrishna said that except the Tanguturi surname, the person claiming to be the general secretary of the Prakasam Abhivruddhi Adhyayana Samastha Trust, was in no way connected with the family of Prakasam Pantulu.
