Lizard ‘found’ in biryani

Officials of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) have responded to a complaint that a lizard was allegedly found in the chicken biryani at a hotel at the Teacher’s Colony here on Friday.

A customer, Vijay, reportedly found the lizard in the chicken biryani served to him.

Following a complaint by him, the food safety officials collected the samples of the biryani and sent them to a lab for testing. Investigation is on.
