‘Power to Girls’

Chaitanya Public School, Ukkunagaram, launched a new programme, ‘Power to Girls’, on the eve of International Day of the Girl Child on its campus on Friday.

The programme focused on gender discrimination and other issues faced by girls. Associate Professor of Department of Psychology and Director of Yoga and Consciousness, Andhra University, P. Nirmala Devi addressed the students.

Founder and secretary of Mahila Action Swarna Kumari, clinical psychologist P. Suseela Rani, and director of the school K. Meghana spoke.
