Krishna police organise Open House

Students of various schools and colleges visited the Machilipatnam police station as part of the ‘Open House’ programme on Monday.

Additional Superintendent of Police B.D.V. Sagar and other officials explained to the students about the use of weapons such asLMG, AK-47, SLR, 410 and 403 models of guns.

The police officials also explained to the students about various concepts of policing.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Sagar advised the students to pursue a career in defence and police wings to take up the most challenging responsibilities.

Several Circle Inspectors and Sub Inspectors also interacted with the visitors. The programme was organised as part of the Police Martyrs' Commemoration Week.

Students from the Noble College, Bhasshyam, Narayana and other government and private schools attended the programme.
