KMC going the e-way

October 04, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:51 am IST - KAKINADA:

In its bid to involve more people in the preparation of the ‘Smart City Proposal,’ Kakinada Municipal Corporation (KMC) is going the e-way by opening an exclusive Facebook account, Twitter handle and Gmail account, besides planning to launch a call centre.

“The idea is to involve people in the preparation of a comprehensive proposal. We have opened electronic accounts for smart phone users. They can air their views by making a few clicks on their mobiles,” District Collector and Special Officer of KMC H. Arun Kumar said on Friday.

People can log on to http://facebook.com/smartkakinada on Facebook, http://twitter.com/smartkakinada on Twitter to share their views on how to develop Kakinada into a smart city or they can write their views in detail and mail them tosmartcitykakinada
