District TDP president Somisetty Venkateswarlu and general secretary Y. Nageswara Rao Yadav disbursed financial assistance of ₹28.5 lakh to 104 families of TDP activists from all over Kurnool district through TDP Welfare Fund on Friday.
The TDP has set up the Welfare Fund to assist the families of deceased/slain party activists. It also started a model school through NTR Trust to educate their children, they said in the TDP office in Kurnool. The party was extending financial assistance to partymen for performing the marriage of their daughters, they added.
