Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and his UP counterpart Yogi Adityanath are likely to meet here on February 14.

Both are expected to attend a function being organised by Swaroopanandendra Saraswati, head of the Visakha Sri Sarada Peetham.

There is no confirmation on whether YSRCP chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will attend the meet. He is scheduled to take part in the house-warming ceremony of his newly-built property in Amaravati the same day.

While KCR had agreed to attend the function, sources in the peetham told The Hindu that there were positive indications on Mr. Adityanath’s participation too.

However, they said they were awaiting an official confirmation. Two days later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public rally in the city.

According to Swaroopanandendra Saraswati, ‘Astabandhana Maha Kumbahisekham’ would be performed from February 10 to 14 in the ashram at Chinnamushidiwada.
