Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday accused Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao of sending Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as a “return gift” to Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing a massive road show at Lakshmipuram Road, Mr. Naidu said: “You may be wondering what is the return gift from KCR, I am sure that Jagan is the return gift.

KCR has sent Jagan with crores of rupees to win the elections,” Mr. Naidu said.

The TDP chief also charged the BJP with colluding with Jagan and KCR in a bid to weaken the TDP-led government.

Attacking Mr. Jagan, Mr. Naidu said the former had 31 cases against him which were being probed by various Central and State agencies.

He lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi calling him a “betrayer” who had shown utter contempt towards the State.

Guntur MP Galla Jayadev Assembly candidates Maddali Giridhar and Naseer Ahmed were present.
