The JEE Advanced ranks are likely to be announced on Wednesday as the online registration and choice of picking up the seats will start on June 25.

The website of the JEE Advanced said that the Joint Seat Allocation Authority has been created to conduct admissions for IITs, ISM, NITs, IIITs and other government-funded technical institutions (josaa.nic.in).

The website has said that online registration and choice filling will be held from June 25 to 29 while the display of mock seat allocation will be on June 28. The first round of seat allocation will be done on July 1 and acceptance of the seats will be allowed from July 2 to 6.

Students of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (OC and OBC) will have to get minimum of 75 per cent in Intermediate and also score a rank in JEE Advanced to gain eligibility for admissions into IITs.

However, students from SC, ST and Physically Challenged categories will be eligible if they score 700 marks. Most students who clear JEE Advanced are expected to score 75 per cent in Intermediate.
