IAS officers take their complaint to Kiran

July 18, 2012 09:06 am | Updated 09:06 am IST - HYDERABAD:

The IAS Officers Association, which has taken serious exception to the ‘derogatory remarks’ of Minor Irrigation Minister T. G. Venkatesh that the bureaucrats were not cooperating, brought the issue to the notice of Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy here on Tuesday.

Resentment

The Association vice-president Prasanta Mahapatra and others met the Chief Minister at the Secretariat and explained their concern and resentment over the remarks made by Mr. Venkatesh.

They also believed to have submitted a copy of the resolution passed by the Association on Sunday condemning Mr. Venkatesh’s remarks.

Mr. Mahapatra declined to give details of their meeting with the Chief Minister who returned to city after completing three-day ‘Indiramma Bata’ programme. He merely said that they had conveyed their anguish over the remarks of the Minister.
