‘I was the son of a bus conductor’

Minister P. Narayana said he achieved success owing to his educational qualifications, but all that was attained with great difficulty. “Not many are aware that I am the son of a private bus conductor. Despite financial problems, my parents wanted me to pursue higher studies. It was their support that made me study and work hard,” Mr. Narayana said. It was after setting up the Narayana Educational Institutions, Mr. Narayana conducted special classes for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s son N. Lokesh during his Intermediate days. “Chandrababu Naidu never bothered about ranks. All he wanted was knowledge,” he added.
