October 04, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:51 am IST - GUNTUR:

Amidst the forest of stalls featuring new ventures at the APREDA property show here, are an array of presentations on security solutions such as video phones, burglar alarms, remote-controlled sensors and solar fencing.

``We have a range of home security devices ranging from CCTV cameras, video phones, biometric door locks, etc. People who are planning to live in the suburbs are particularly interested in such security solutions,” said Rajesh of Abhee Smart Home Systems. The price range for some of the electronic appliances is Rs.5,000 to Rs.20,000.

Apart from home security devices, there are a range of smart systems to gawk at. One can operate electrical switches, including lights and fans, air-conditioners and adjust the brightness of lights using an electronic panel.

“These devices are useful for families with elderly people. Since they have limited mobility, one can use remote-controlled devices to operate all electrical and electronic gadgets,’’ said Mr. Rajesh.
