Justice Kodandaram of the Hyderabad High Court ordered notices in a writ petition filed against Kodela Siva Rama Krishna, son of Assembly Speaker Siva Prasad Rao, alleging that he and his supporters had illegally occupied valuable land in Dhullipalla village in Sattenapally mandal of Guntur district.

Godugula Subba Rao, petitioner, alleged that Gutta Nagendra Prasad of Sasi infra and Shivarama Krishna had grabbed 11 acres of prime land owned by him. He alleged that women were dragged out and rowdy elements created panic by burning poultry sheds.

Charge against police

He lamented that the Sattenapaly rural police had not taken any action though there was a written complaint.

Instead, a criminal case was filed against the aggrieved party.

He wanted the case to be handed over to the CBI to facilitate an impartial investigation.

The case would be listed after three weeks. The judge ordered notices to all the respondents, including the police officers and the CBI Director.
